Hello fabulous supporters,
Thank you all for your encouragement, prayers, and support! With Bali Hai Vacation Bible School less than two months away, we have been busy preparing ourselves for what lies ahead.
What have we been up to?
- We made crafts and baked cookies for a fundraiser at church last Sunday!
- We’ve been learning about evangelism, spiritual warfare, and to be mindful of cultural differences as we connect with people from different contexts. Shoutout to Pastor Ulysses and Pastor Mark for teaching us!
- Deciding on our plan for Vacation Bible School (VBS) — theme, activities, schedule.
- Two Saturdays ago, I volunteered at the Bali Hai Food Pantry. It was great to see the kids after a month of missing food pantry.
- Shoutout to my three prayer partners whom I’ve been regularly meeting up with, y’all know who you are!

We all know we could have easily funded ourselves — the main motivation for inviting your support is to involve our community in what God is doing at Bali Hai. And your support is not limited to funds, it’s also your prayers or simply volunteering at Bali Hai in any of our twice-a-month food pantries!
Prayer Requests
- Wisdom as we plan our lessons for each day. Each lesson will point to the Gospel, and we hope that each child will get to know Jesus and the Good News God has given us!
- Smooth logistical planning! From materials to space, we have a lot of decisions to make that will impact the logistics of our 5-day Vacation Bible School
